What to Expect

Due to licensing regulations, our services are currently New Jersey based. If you are out of state and would like more information on counselors in your area, please contact us.

Before your session

One of our trained mental health liaisons will reach out to you to complete your pre-screening questionnaire. This is to connect you with the mental health professional that is right for you. Once you are connected, your provider will reach out to you to schedule your first appointment. After your first appointment, our liaison will follow up. If you want to make changes to your provider at this time, your liaison will assist you. Your liaison will also discuss with you your payment options. If you have insurance, they will reach out to your insurance provider to confirm coverage. If you do not have insurance, do not fret, we have affordable options for any budget.

During your session

Please keep in mind, our providers will ask for your physical location at the beginning of the session We recommend you find a quiet space for your telehealth services. The goal of our providers is to create a safe and comfortable space during your sessions. We ask you turn off anything that may cause you to lose focus and recommend you be in a space where you can be open to share. This also helps to keep your sessions confidential. If during your session something arises where your space is no longer “quiet”, please let your provider know immediately.

You may find yourself emotional during your session. This is okay and expected. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and help you navigate through your complex thoughts and emotions. If at anytime you feel as though you want to self-harm, please let your provider know immediately!

Your provider will follow up with you at the frequency you request between appointments. If you feel like you need to speak to your provider sooner, please contact us immediately.
